If someone is criticizing, disrespecting, bashing or hating you, it should only hurt a little bit, let's say 30 seconds or a minute then move on right away. What is the point in trying to fight back? you're not a loser, you're a winner and only insecure people and losers hate. GO back to your goal, go back to your life because you have a lot of business to do. Mind your own business, other people's comments is none of your business.

What is the point in trying to fight back or argue with a person who has been so disrespectful, you will not be able to control his mind, trying to hurt him means you are not focusing on yourself rather you are focusing on him. The best thing to do is to keep quiet and just move on with your own life. You don't need to protect yourself, you're already protected yourself when you ignore those clowns trying to hurt your feelings. Their main agenda is to make you react, stop living a reactive life and live a proactive life. Just create, just work and move forward, never let anyone hurt your emotions. At the end of the day nobody or nothing can hurt you if you have a strong mind. The best way to have a strong mind is to focus only on what you want and never give any attention to what you don't want, that's the simplest way to do it.
Emotions will never give you any progress. Stop being emotional, stop pampering your emotions because it is nothing, it is not important, the most important thing is what you believe about yourself, what you believe that's going to happen and focus on these things. If you are focused on your beliefs then you will chase your goals no matter what, you will have no time for stupid people that doesn't even matter in your life. Keep the main thing the main thing. Being emotional will never help you, it will stop you all the time from taking actions. Being fearful, wanting pleasures, feeling lazy, overreacting... these are strong emotions that is hurting the process, it is stunting your growth. You need to stop caring about how you feel and go back towards your goals. Whatever hurt you should only hurt a little bit, it should never ruin your day or affect your mentality. Just forget about it, treat it as nothing, never give it any value, ignore it as much as you can.
Because you are the only one who is hurting yourself by acting like a victim and making dramas all the time. Stop the drama series and focus on your goals only, know what is important, focus on it and never let anything bother you again.
