Resistance is the only thing that makes the task infront of you harder than is should be. It is not that hard, what makes it hard is you are so slow to start, you are letting fear get the best of you. Resistance is easy to beat, just stay focus and execute the first step.
1. Forget about perfection, just give your best. Giving your best will make you feel relieved, it will make you feel confident. Forget about being the number one, just give your best every single second of the journey. A lot of people can't move because they want to become great right away, they want easy success, they think that it's possible. And when they feel that they are on the wrong way... they will never continue, they will not even start. Once they got overwhelmed... they will think about doing some other things, they will procrastinate, that creates the bigger resistance.
2. Forget the final outcome. Never mind if you will suck or not, never mind if you will produce a masterpiece or not. Just do what is needed to be done and that's it. Resistance becomes stronger because you are always thinking about a great outcome. The reality is... not all the time you will be able to produce a great outcome, not all the time you will get what you are expecting, all you need to do is just face your responsibility and take actions.
3. Forget about what people say. Forget if they are saying that you're weak, stupid, slow, wrong etc. Forget everything they say. You will feel free even more if you will honestly follow your heart and do what you think is right, do what makes you happy and that's it. Resistance will become very weak if you will close your ears and just move forward, once you hear something from them... completely throw it away.
4. Enjoy being slow. Resistance becomes stronger because you are rushing. A boxer when knocked down can't get up fast because he is rushing to stand up fast. Just take your time, don't rush it, enjoy being slow. Most projects can't even start because people involved in it want to finish it fast, they don't want to enjoy the process that's why the resistance becomes stronger every second.
5. Face the reality. It's hard... face it, face the reality that it's not going to be easy. Once you accept to yourself that it's going to be a little difficult then you will be able to take more actions.
6. Accept critics. There will always be critics if you are trying to start something. The more you mind critics the more you will get resistance. Things will get more difficult, so forget them, forget how good they are, they are no better than you because all they do is talk. Accept that there will be people who will try to bring you down and keep moving forward, never give them any attention. Just do your thing and try to become successful.
7. Just enjoy the ride. Even if it is a rough ride or an enjoyable ride... just enjoy it. enjoying the ride will make you move easily. It will take away all the pain. Enjoy every challenges, just simply enjoy moving.
8. Embrace the fear. No matter where you go, no matter how big you become... there will always be fear. Fear is part of your life, fear is nothing, it's just a feeling. The only way to beat fear is to feel it and embrace it, go towards it don't push it. The more you embrace fear the lesser the resistance will be.
