Success is very basic, it's really that simple. It's all about forcing yourself to move whenever you need todo something necessary and forcing yourself to stop whenever you need to stop continue doing a stupid activity, as simple as that. Because it's really hard to control yourself that's why you need to develop the art of forcing. It's hard to motivate yourself to take actions that's why you need to force yourself to just do it. It's hard to stop a vice, it's hard to stop your addiction that's why you need a brute force to stop it. Just stop, even if it feels so bad... just stop. Stop for a second then extend the time, stop it for one hour then stop it for a day. The key is to be mindful of what you're doing, stay present so you will be able to control yourself. The reason you're having a hard time controlling yourself is because you're always thinking about the future and the past, sometimes you're in an autopilot mode, but if you will stay present then you will be able to control yourself easily.
FORGET THE FUTURE AND JUST DO IT
The power of just doing it is real, you create a momentum, you gain more confidence. Just do it and forget everything, just do it and give everything you've got... as simple as that. It's hard but it is doable, once you were able to control yourself, once you become present with the moment then nothing can ever stop you anymore. Believe that all of your actions were necessary to become successful. Progress comes from actions and not from stopping or wasting time. Be mindful of what you do, is it bringing you closer to success? is it making you a winner? or is it simply making your life more difficult? you know better, you know if you're sabotaging yourself, you know what is right or wrong so stop making excuses, stop fooling everyone and making a story why your life is on a downward spiral. It's your habits that are killing you or making you. Guard yourself all the time and define what is giving you an edge or not. Watch every step you execute, if you're about to do something useless... stop yourself right away even if the activity is very fun and entertaining. You can save a lot of time if you will master stopping yourself from doing a useless activity. All of your actions are useless if it's not making you better, if it's not supporting your life. You have to admit to yourself that something fun is not making you grow, it's making you worse.
Running is not fun, studying is not fun, exercising is not fun, working is not fun but these are the activities that will make yourself better. Why will you avoid doing these things? yeah it is not easy but all the easy activities have no rewards. Playing video games, watching porn, drinking, gambling, smoking pot, gossiping... these are all fun activities but they are making your life worse. It's making you a useless individual. If you want to get stronger then force yourself to do the right things that have benefits. Force yourself to stop sabotaging yourself, stop all the useless actions that leads to nowhere, you don't need to attend a seminar to study how to live a better life, just stay disciplined and you're already good.
