Numbers don't lie, results don't lie... what you have not is the results of your effort. If you're having poor and ugly results it only means you exert a weak effort. If you're successful now then it means that your hard work paid off. You can lie to everyone but you can never lie to yourself, you know in yourself if you really work hard or not.
So stop questioning why the universe is cruel to you, it's cruel because you're not doing the right things. Don't look for reasons why you're not succeeding, you already knew it. You know it from the start.
