You don't need to become really advance to become successful, you don't need to become super technical with all the details inside of your head, all you need is to find the most effective basic and keep repeating it. If your process is so basic but it's giving you high quality result then why change it? keep doing it until it become advance, you can add something to it, you can tweak it but you should keep the core.
Basic skills, basic knowledge, basic process... basic everything, it's ok. For as long as you love doing it and it's giving you some sort of success then you are fine, no need to look for advance that is completely useless.
It's not about how advance you are, it's how effective you are, it's how productive you are. So keep looking for the basics and keep using it until you become successful.
You can d o it your way, you can make a name for yourself and achieve greater heights by simply being simple and common. Stop complicating things if it doesn't need complication, stop making it advance if you will not advance. All you need to have is the process that fits you and will make you a winner.
