Social media is so dangerous, it has a lot of advantages but it has a lot of disadvantages too. It is feeding you a lot of inputs that you don't need, it is manipulating your mind and turning you into a fake person. You are becoming what you are not, you are doing a lot of things because you don't want to be the last person to do it, you are becoming a trendist, you love fads, crazes and you don't want to be outdated on what is going on around you.

You're not really a traveler but you started to become one. You want to travel because you get jealous of other people who are travelling, you just wanted to take pictures showing that you went to this kind of place so you will be able to impress a lot of people. You hate traveling before but you love it now because of the number of likes you are getting from other people that you don't even know personally. You are buying plane tickets even if your savings is already zero balance, you will endure becoming broke just to impress people.

You don't want that shoes but you will still buy it because your nemesis have it, you saw her on social media shopping new things so you need to show her that you have a lot of money too even if you're broke in real life.

You are turning into something that you are not because of social media, you become fake. You only wanted to show the good side of your life and hide the bad ones. You want to become popular by showing them that you can afford to go this or buy that.

Even if you don't have money anymore, you will still buy something just to look popular that will not even last for a day. You are forcing yourself to make stupid decisions just to get likes from other people.

You are pretending to be kind, you are pretending to become a master of something, you are pretending to be brave if you have an enemy in facebook, you are turning into something you are not, you're such a fake person now.

Social media has a lot of advantages especially when communicating with friends, the only problem is people forgot how to use it effectively, they use it for their own dirty agenda.
