You can become successful even if you don't have any skill at all, just develop your willpower, promise yourself that you will do whatever it takes just to win in life. You willpower is the barometer to success, not skill, not talent, not support from other people... it's your willpower alone that will put you on top. Some people have great minds, they have gifts but they lack the willpower so they fail in the end, they never push through, they never go further, the quit the moment they feel that they can't do it anymore.
But if you have that insane willpower then you will overcome any obstacles in life, you will push through even if it's so hard.
It's when it's hard that you must fight harder, it's when it's hard that you must not give up. Anybody can act like they're great when good things are happening, when everything is favoring them but how will they react when things get tougher? how will they recover when the world is punishing them? it's not how talented you are... it's how tough you are.
You can develop any skill you needed through willpower, if no one is there to teach you then you will teach yourself by experience, you will do everything you can to learn. You will succeed in your own way, you will never trust anybody to hand success to you, you will simply trust yourself and see what life can offer you.
