No matter how tough the situation is, even if your time is running out... you should still have a still mind, you should still calm yourself, you will never hit if you are rushing.
Just like a star player in basketball, he will never panic during the later stages of the ball game, even if the situation is so tight... you will still see that his composure is still evident. He will slow down, he will never rush anything, just like Michael Jordan.
Because if you are rushing then you will make mistakes, you will never hit the target. Your composure should be at check, never rush things or else you will make a lot of errors. Even if the pressure is so high, just maintain a still and calm mind, learn to breathe during fire, learn to slow down when most people are rushing.
It's not about the time left, it's about how calm you are even if the pressure is so high. You can have your own time, you should be confident that you can still hit the target no matter how thin is the time remaining.
A still mind is the right state of mind, a mind that is crowded with fear and afraid of not hitting the target will be lost. Be in the moment, have that tough mindset, show your mental toughness, it's like you know what to do and you are going to do it regardless of how critical the situation is.
Don't panic, you will become slower if you're in a state of fear, you will become faster if you're relaxed and calm, you will be able to dictate the tempo if you're not rushing things. Don't look like you're running away from something, don't look like you're trying to shy away from the moment, be in the moment no matter how tough it looks.
Rushing things is like being afraid, it means you don't know what to do, of course you always knew that to do, you just can't think because you're prioritizing fear instead of calmness. Prioritize calmness, it will show you the way, it's ok to become scared or nervous a little bit but don't ever enter a pace that is not yours. create your own pace, create your own timing.
Never mind if the deadline is almost there, just keep going and give your very best. Never mind if you only have 2 days left before the exam, just review what you can review and follow your game plan. And speaking of game plan, you should have it before you enter a stressful situation, you must follow a game plan and implement it no matter what, you must have a plan for any kind of situation so you won't be scared.
The best game plan is to become still, to stay calm and look for the best thing that you can do. Never panic, just live your life, always remember that you will never die no matter what happens. Learn to enjoy the pressure, learn to manipulate the pain.
If you want to hit the target then learn to stay calm and relaxed, learn how to think during critical situations, learn to feel that negative emotion and still give your very best.
