They knew what to do, they knew that to avoid but they are not avoiding it.

DISCIPLINE CREATES CONTROL
Discipline will create a big improvement in your life if you will learn how to master it. I stated on top that traffic can control you, once you're stuck in traffic you will get angry, your day was already ruined. Your momentum dies and you will carry that in your job. But if you have a discipline of sleeping early and waking up early then you will never get stuck in traffic, you already controlled traffic.
Food can control you, once you get used to eating a lot especially junk foods... you're in big trouble my friend, food is controlling your health, it's ruining your body. If you will just practice abstaining from junk foods then it will create a big impact on your health, of course it will be painful, it's hard but it is what it is, you need to stop consuming garbage foods if you want to live longer and stronger.
Thoughts are controlling you, it's creating fear or anxiety. Even if it's impossible to happen you are still thinking about it. And this is giving you a panic attack or depression. If you can just control your thoughts then the pain in your ass will be lessen. Most of the pain we felt was done by our own negative thinking. It's about time to stop thinking negative, it's simple.. be mindful, think of a subject that makes you feel good and just think about it all day long. If you find yourself thinking negatively again then practice day dreaming, think about your celebrity crush, think about undressing her, or maybe think about the car that you desire and imagine driving it. It's simply about replacing your negative thoughts with positive ones, the key here it to be mindful and always catch yourself thinking negatively so that you will work on processing positive thoughts.
If you want to have more power... never let anything control you, you must control it, you must control yourself. Control yourself and you will control your destiny. Controlling yourself means loving yourself.
HOW TO KNOW IF YOU ARE BEING CONTROLLED?
Very simple, your life sucks, you hate your life, you are sloppy, you are slow, you are unproductive, you are not working hard, you are always scared, you are irritated, you feel so heavy and low, you're always sick for no reason. You are addicted to it, you can't stop it, even if you know that it's bad for you... you still do it. That's why it is a must to stop the madness, list the things that you want to eliminate in your life and completely get rid of it. Use your willpower, remember this is a lot of work, this is a lot of discipline but always remember that whenever you feel stressed because of not doing it... you are growing and getting better.
THERE IS NOTHING WRONG IF YOU TRY THESE THINGS SOMETIMES
You're not a saint, you're just a human. It's ok if you eat junk foods, coke or even smoke a cigar sometimes but be aware if you're already consuming a lot. Always admit to yourself that you've already consumed a lot. There should be a limit, once you told yourself that it's the last then make as stand that it's the last. No matter how tempting it is... make it the last. Because if you will exceed the limitations that you set for yourself then you will become addicted to it again and it will be hard to eliminate it again. It's ok to taste something but never let it control you. There should be a separation, you should always see yourself.
YOUR LIFE WILL CHANGE IF YOU PRACTICE TO ELIMINATE THE THING THAT CONTROLS YOU THE MOST
Sometimes you don't need to become better, sometimes you don't need to become great in order to succeed. You just need to eliminate the thing that is slowing you down or making your life worse. Sometimes all you need to do is focus on what is working and giving you a good life then never stop it. A guy who watches porn movies for 2 hours a day will be able to change his life if he use that 2 hours for exercising or making money. A guy who keeps on blaming people will make his life better if he focuses on solutions instead of trying to control everything. A guy who procrastinates for 5 hours a day can become rich if he uses that 5 hours for building a small business or working for a side hustle. See, it's not about what you are doing, it's about what you are not doing. Focus on what you don't need to do and stop doing it, be aware if you're doing stupid things all the time and stop doing it. Because once you were able to stop the activities that doesn't make any sense then you will automatically do the things that will give you a better life. It's all about the discipline, be strict on yourself. Never let yourself engage with things, activities or people that doesn't help you at all.
THE REAL WORK IS ON YOU
You think the company you are working at will make you rich? you think that working for somebody will give you more money if you follow what he says? no, it's not the reality. The real work is on you, you need to work on yourself, make yourself better, learn if you need to learn something, discipline yourself, make yourself valuable. Have you ever seen someone who is working so hard but cannot earn more money? it's because his skills doesn't offer valuable services, his skills can be replace by everyone. Anyone can sweep the floor without studying it, anyone can clean the fucki*ng toilet. But if you want to earn more then you need to have a skill that only few people can do, that's how to become successful. And that skill will only be developed if you will work on yourself. You don't necessarily need to study everything, you just need to study yourself. Find where you're good at, find what process is working for you, stay disciplined, focus on the gains, focus on what you love the most, find your own timing and rhythm, find your own style. You just need to look at yourself and ask yourself why are you not thriving, sometimes all you need to do is a minor tweak and you will get better results.
