If you can master the basics then you can master anything. You are so focused on being advance that's why your route to greatness is so eroded, that's why you're making a lot of mistakes and you can't produce any positive results, master the basic and keep mastering it everyday.
If you master the basics then you know what you're doing, you have something to do when everything is going wrong, you can make adjustments easily. Advance techniques will be learned naturally if you keep on repeating the basics.
Actually... basics is better than advance, it is simple but the execution will be flawless, it is very effective and it is very easy. All you have to do is work hard and keep repeating it. The advance will be learned accidentally, you will learn it by yourself. Sometimes you think you are doing the basics but you're already doing the advance.
Repetition is the key to advance level. Keep repeating the basics and you will go to a different level, you will level up time and time again. The progress will be very smooth and easy, the transition will be flawless.
The basic things are the most important things, you will make the difficult look easy and the easy look difficult.
