The idea here is to be yourself and not overextend yourself just to please somebody or impress everyone. If you don't have money to buy expensive or branded clothes then choose to buy cheap things instead. There is nothing wrong with that, what is wrong is you are using your credit card, you are borrowing money and make yourself poorer just to impress other people that doesn't even care about you. You don't need their opinions, it's ok if they think of you as broke or have no money, the most important thing here is you have a purpose and that is to get better everyday and improve your life a little bit. You will never have a better life if your focused is to impress people and make them think that you are rich, you don't need their attention, you don't need their comments. You will only get weaker each day every time you care about what people say. It's not about the price of your belongings, it's how you carry yourself. You can look cheap but still elegant, if you have class, if you have manners and oozing confidence that makes people look at you. Confidence and belief in yourself will make you stand out, not your branded clothes or expensive bags.
DON'T BE AFRAID TO WEAR FAKES
They will never know if it's original or not, and even if they are doubting your things... they are still not 100 percent sure if you're wearing fake or not. Just wear it, if you don't want to wear fakes then wear cheap clothes, it's alright too. The idea here is to stop being afraid of wearing anything, it's to stop giving away your power to brands and perception of people, you can still feel confident anywhere even if you're not flashy or wearing expensive jewelries, it's how you carry yourself, it's how you speak, it's how bold you are, it's how you live with a purpose or not. Fake things are nothing, the same as original ones, don't let products define who you are, it's what you do that defines who you are, it's your character, it's your knowledge and ability to adapt or cope to any kind of situation.
Don't be afraid of what people say, if they don't like you so be it, what matters is you know what you want, you know who you are and you know where are you going. Focus on your goals, focus on trying to get better each day mentally and you will never give attention to what they say anymore. What they say is nothing, don't give it any power. Look at yourself, what are you doing now? how are you acting? do you have any goal? are you living with your values? or are you letting people define who you are? no matter how much expensive the clothes you wear you will still feel weak if you are wearing it just to impress them. The real brand here is your confidence, you can feel invincible and untouchable even if you're wearing the cheapest and ugliest sneakers in town, if you don't care then you are powerful. If you only care about how you feel and how you think and no external thing can affect you then you will be in total control, you will command people, you will have a very commanding energy. It's not about what clothes you wear, you can still look elegant and strong if you strongly believe in yourself and in your heart you know you are something. If you know that you're not a cheap clown, if you know that you are strong then nothing can intimidate you.
