Sometimes not saying anything, not retaliating, not showing off too much will create attention too, you will be appreciated too even if you have nothing to be proud of. Being humble, respectful and quiet will make them notice you especially if you're getting successful bit by bit. Some people were too loud, they were too proud even if they only accomplished a little. They think they're already on the top of the mountain.
