12 LOGICAL THINGS TO DO AFTER FAILING

Failing is normal, it doesn't make you look bad every time you fail. Your perception about yourself and the event makes you look like a loser, you feel so bad and defeated. The truth is you're not defeated if you feel good, and it's possible to feel good after failing, it's possible to put a smile on your face. 

1. Stay calm.

Stay calm, breathe and relax because it's not the end of the world. It's just another small figment of your life. Creating dramas and looking for sympathy is not helping at all. Freaking out, drinking beers all day long and acting like depressed will never help you to recover. Stay calm and keep your composure. If you're lost and feels like everything turn its back from you... just stay calm, you're still alive so you are alright. Staying calm will make your mind breathe, that will enable you to think clearly on what move to do next. Don't let anger or sadness make you do stupid moves. Stay calm and re-evaluate things, weigh your options, you don't need to move right away, rest for a moment and gather yourself up. 

2. Decide where direction are you headed to.

Once you're already calm you can now decide where direction are you headed to. Are you moving forward or are you going backward? There's a new direction, there's a new path after failing, once a door close another door will open. 

3. Always think that you can try again.

Never eliminate yourself that fast, you can try again next time. There are no limits to your number of tries, you can try as much as you can. You can try tomorrow or next week, you can try whenever you wanted to try, nothing can stop you. It is a privilege of a human being to try as much as he can until he succeed. 

4. Prepare better.

Plan better, work harder, do better this time so you will avoid failing. The reason why you fail is because you're preparation was not enough, you have to do more and focus more. A man who is prepared will win the battle now matter how hard the challenge is. Never let your past defeat make you  a lazy and unmotivated person, it should fuel you more, it should make you go harder. 

5. Talk to your friends or closest family member.

It's normal to get heartbroken, it's normal to feel the pain. Look for a trusted person who can comfort you and can listen to your pain without judgement. It can be your mom or dad or brothers or just a close friend in facebook, look for someone whom you can trust and share with him your feelings, you need to express your sadness so that your sanity will remain fine. 

6. Forget about it.

If people ask you about it just answer them with a few words, and when you're finally annoyed then quit talking. Learn to put that failure on the grave, forget it like it didn't happen. Never let it affect your life, never let it become a trauma. Just think that it's another normal day and not even a big deal. 

7. Detach from the outcome.

Let your mind breathe, stop thinking that you come up short over and over again. Detach from the outcome, you already failed, your mom get disappointed, you already embarrassed yourself and now what? it's already in the past, you have to move on and look forward to try again. The outcome is nothing, your success can be measured by how hard you try to get it. 

8. Treat yourself nice.

Stop thinking that you're not good enough, stop saying that you're stupid. You're always better than that. Treat yourself nice, buy yourself some clothes or favorite food, entertain yourself a little bit and go back trying again. You don't need to punish yourself, you don't need to say bad words against yourself, always stay positive. Treat yourself like a king, love yourself because you are the only one who can help yourself to stand up again. 

9. No regrets.

Top thinking about what you could have done right so that the result will be different, it already happened, there is nothing you can do about it anymore. What is done is done, you can never go back to the past anymore, Have peace with it, it's over, let it go and look forward for a brighter tomorrow. Because at the end of the day.. you will fail no matter how good you are, at one point in your life you will fail at something. You need to feel nothing about failure because it's part of our lives, people who failed a lot of times really live, and people who didn't have a lot of regrets to think, it's haunting them because they knew they have a chance but they didn't even try. 

10. Be happy. 

You have every reason to become happy with your life. It's just a failure, be happy that you try, don't ever let it control your emotions. You can feel sad for a week but after that let go, be happy because you're still alive and can try again, be happy because there are plenty of opportunities ahead of you. Happiness is easy to achieve, it's a choice, you can become happy even if everything was taken away from you. 

11. Create a new target. 

Create a new target, create a new goal, it's time to redeem yourself. Create a target that will get all of your attention. It can be anything, it can be a small target or a big target. 

12. Work on your confidence. 

I know your confidence was shattered a little bit but it will come back again, it will even come back stronger. All you have to do is work harder and condition your mind to entertain hopeful thoughts. Taking a lot of actions and steps to make a comeback is the number one confidence builder, always keep moving forward no matter what.
