Most people will do a task longer than the normal duration. They will do a 30 minute task for 2 hours, they procrastinate a lot, they don't have a sense of urgency that's why they can't be productive, that's why progress is very slow or nothing at all. You must put yourself on a sense of urgency, there must be fear, there must be anxiety, if you feel so comfortable about doing a task chances are you will never do it fast and you will always delay it. People will procrastinate whenever they have a chance that's why only few succeed. The key to success is very simple... don't waste time, do more and always follow your vision, you don't need to become super talented here, you don't need to become special, you just need to do the basics and give everything you've got. You need to be faster a little bit than your normal speed, you need to push yourself to the limits or else you will never make a breakthrough. It's hard but it's too simple, just make yourself a doer and a finisher, start it and never do something else until it's done. Always go for the kill, have that killer instinct, have that killer mentality to keep pushing even if it is hard and uncomfortable. Do whatever it takes to go further, the mindset is to pull the trigger and never give up. Focus on the task in front of you and never stop until it is done. At the end of the day the truth is you can do anything you want, it all depends on you if you're going to do it. so stop being soft, stop being a chicken, stop looking for perfection and focus on the execution. It's not about how great you are, it's about how hungry you are. If you can have this kind of mentality for a very long time then sky is the limit to you. Give yourself a short deadline, if you can do something for 30 minutes, do it for 30 minutes or even lesser than that. Stop thinking that you have all day to do something, stop pacing yourself and just go hard right away. You can go hard without warming up, doing a lot of ceremonies is BS, stop making excuses that you need to do this or that first, stop making yourself feel comfortable and just put yourself in fire right away. Your body will adapt, your mind will start to click once you're there putting yourself on pressure. Embrace the stress, embrace the uncertainty because it is a place where growth is taking place, you can never evolve if you're always feeling comfortable, you will only become better through pressure and pain. So be happy whenever it is painful and just go all the way, give everything you've got and never stop enjoying the process. Because the longer you give yourself a breathing room the more your fear gets stronger, your anxiety will level up every time you delay something, doubts will start to cripple in every time you are making excuses. So stop looking for comfort and do what scares you, face the resistance and enjoy it.
