And because you did that action a lot of times, it is now embedded to your subconscious mind, you are now doing it automatically, you can't stop now, you're addicted to that action. And even if you don't like to do it anymore... you are doing it because you are not aware anymore that you are doing it. Your body is moving like a robot without control. And that's why you keep failing, that's why you have no discipline. You are not aware that there is no progress to what you're doing, you are doing it because it is comfortable, accessible and easy. You can't stop yourself, you're hooked to that habit and it will feel like death if you will try to change yourself.
THE GOOD NEWS IS
You can still change, it's never too late for you. All you need to do is decide what you want to be and live that life. Change means force, change means dragging yourself to good habits, you need to embrace the discomfort and try to become the best that you can be. Change means admitting to yourself that what you are doing and thinking is not doing good to your life. You can change now, all you need to be is become decisive of it and never go back to your old self again. It's simply about choosing the best option available for you. You need to be patient, you need to go all in and bet on yourself. Trust the process and never quit. It's too basic, you can do it, it's hard but it's really too basic. It's simply controlling yourself and focusing on what do you really want to be. Ask yourself, is what you're doing now making you go further? or is it making you slower and slower with improvement at all? be hones, most people can't admit that they are bum that's why they can't change, that's why they can't do something about their lives. They think they're always right and nothing wrong could happen by still maintaining the bad habits that they have.
DO WHAT YOU DON'T WANT TO DO
What you don't want to do but is important and has a potential, do it. Force yourself to take the first step and never stop until you're done, that's how to change, that's how to make a small progress. Follow through all the time, embrace the pain and boredom for doing it. Don't worry because you will learn t enjoy it later especially if you're seeing small results. Creating progress is too basic, just work hard, start early, start fast, push as much as you can and never give up. Even a kindergarten can understand it. You don't need to become something special to improve or make a progress. Just take your work and goal seriously and give it a lot of time and effort and you will make a stride. Do what you don't want to do, execute the first step and follow through everyday, create a habit that is necessary for creating a progress. You know the right things, you just don't want to do it because you're having too much fun with your bad habits.
GO TO THE NEXT STEP VERY FAST
Most people's problem is once they were done with a very simple and cute task they will rest right away. They will never follow through, they will take a nap or maybe sleep like a king. They think they were entitled of being lazy and that's why they can't make a progress. The number one rule for making a progress is follow through right away after one step. Take steps as much as you can and never relax for a second. If you want to become a winner then stop being a diva, stop pampering yourself and go for the next step right away without even thinking. Stop feeling tired, stop feeling entitled of rest, you don't deserve a special treatment if you haven't done any significant mark to your life yet. You're too soft, stop acting like a baby and act like a real man or woman, push yourself to the limits and forget about the limiting beliefs that are trying to stop you or hold you down. Believe in the power of perseverance, use your willpower to create something great.
BE MINDFUL OF ALL OF YOUR ACTIONS
Be aware if you're not focusing on your work, be aware if you're trying to open a porn site again, be aware if you're not thinking right again, be aware if you're looking for the remote control of the TVG again, be aware if you're gossiping and getting interested with other people's lives again. The reason why you can't make a huge progress is because you're not aware of your bad habits, you're always in an auto pilot mode, you're letting your subconscious mind control you. You have to fight, if you want to force yourself to take the right actions then you need to be mindful every second, know what you are doing know what you are thinking and eliminate all the bad habits and bad thoughts right away. Stop enjoying the nonsense things, if it has nothing to do with your improvement then don't even bother doing it, stop it right away and focus all of your energy and time for progress.
GO HARD ALL THE TIME
After failing, after succeeding a little bit, even if it is Christmas, even if it's your birthday, even if the world is melting, even if it's already zombie days... go hard, never stop. Never care about anything else and enjoy pushing yourself to the limits. Never care about the outside world and focus on trying to make yourself better. Go hard all the time, don't rest, don't stop think like a shark... if you stop you will die. Always look for the next step, always look for something positive to do, never let your negative thoughts and bad habits block your way. You need to go hard so you will forget your problems, focus on task at a time, finish it and look for the next task again, this should be your life, stay committed and hungry for work.
