MASTERING THE GAP, MASTERING THE SPACING

The Gap, the spacing... these are the things that you should master if you want to have an edge in life. It's all about lengthening the gap and understanding how much space you have. Rich people knows the gap between spending and their net worth, they know the allowance they have on their money, they know when to spend and when to not. Middle class and poor people knows nothing about this, all they know is they have to spend because it's what makes them feel good and in the end they will have a hard time with their lives because they don't know where to get money. There is a spacing for everything for example... the time remaining for the completion of your project. Poor performers will relax today and tomorrow because they think they have enough time until the deadline is almost there, that's the only time they will take things seriously and the result is poor results, the result is failure.

There is a gap in everything, just like when driving, you should know how to calculate very well, you should know the space in front of you so you won't bump into anything, so that the accident will be minimize. Just like a team that is behind by a large margin and still trying to win the game, they should be on a sense of urgency for every possession they have, they should know how much time remaining so that they will still have a big chance of winning the ball game. If you don't know the exact gap then you will just try to become lucky. Success and security is not a matter of just being lucky, it's full of calculations and trials and errors. You need to be a master of something so that you will have an advantage.

If you know the right gap too fill in and you know how much time remaining you have then you will have a calculated effort, you will have a calculated detail that you can use. Rich people knows the gap for every yearly inflation, they know how much space they need to maintain in order to sustain their lifestyles, they're not making a guess here, they were so detailed and they have a game plan... a very detailed game plan that they will follow, they were so disciplined, they know how much they have and they know how much they can afford to lose. They don't let emotions dictate their decision, they were so systematic and they stop when they need to stop.

Just like a mother that wants to have another child, she should know that 2 years is the minimum gap for every baby that she wants to bear. You can't be giving birth for a baby today and then giving birth to another baby the next ten months, you are putting yourself in danger by doing that. There is a timing for everything, there is a spacing for everything. Sometimes you have to let something rest, sometimes you need to let something breathe first so it can maximize its full potential. Not all the time you need to push every time you fail, sometimes you need to relax first and then make a comeback so that you are stronger, wiser and more prepared.

Patience is the key for every successful journey, know the gap, master the spacing. Another example is fighting with a very experience fighter, you should know the gap of your skills, you should know if you are ready or not, it's not all about hear, it's all about being smart.
