You can't escape this, you can't escape the process. Pain and stress is part of the game, it's part of life, it's part of success. If you are not ready to deal with pain and stress then you will never go further, you will quit easily, you will never win... as simple as that. Sometimes, it's not how good or how strong you are, it's how you handle pain and stress, it's how much you can endure. Pain and stress will always be part of your life, no matter how rich or powerful you are... it will always be at your side, it will follow you.
Pain and stress is the partner of success, without pain and sacrifice you are nothing. But make sure that you know how much pain and stress your mind and body can tolerate, sometimes you have to be practical, sometimes you have to realize that you're not immortal, it's not all about being brave all the time. Sometimes you need to rest so that you can do more tomorrow, you should know your limitations because you might die or collapse if you don't take care of your body. Don't be a fool, be smart, if you want to become unlimited then you should know your limitations, you should know how much pain and tress your body can tolerate and stop for a while, rest if you must. Resting is not quitting, it's stopping to release the toxins from your body, it's regaining your energy again, it's recharging so you can fight back stronger and faster.
Don't push too much if you know you're badly sick, there is always a right time for battle, there is always a right time to push. If you need to rest now then rest but make sure you're not making excuses, small pain should not be used as an excuse, if you're just dealing with small amount of pain then you need to continue, don't be a diva who will stop the moment you feel a little pain, you should push through pain that you can handle.
Managing pain and stress very well is the key to success, the key here is to adjust your speed, stop if you must but your will to continue should never stop. You should push yourself to the limits but there should be a reminder that you're just a human and you also need to rest. You're not a robot nor a machine, you need to settle down if you must because your body will break down if you will not take care of it properly. Your mind has no limits but your body has. Sometimes you think you can still do it but your body is already breaking down, life is a matter of push and pull, it's not all about pushing all the time, you also need to know when to pull and take the necessary adjustments to make a strong come back and push back stronger.
Don't be too sensitive and soft, a little pain should never slow you down or stop you. You know what pain you can tolerate, just a little toot ache or head ache should not stop you, just a little fever should never make you rest for a lot of days. Start fast once you feel a little bit better.
