The hardest thing to do is be yourself, it's because your ego will always try to convince you that you must be better than everyone else, your ego is trying to make you arrogant, you want love from other people, you want appreciation, you want them to bow to you, you want respect, you want power, you want to become popular, and that's why there's a lot of pressure on your shoulders. If you can only learn how to play the game of life then everything else will be a lot easier. This game of life becomes easier to people who's not trying to show off or become the number one, being the number one is good, what makes it bad is it's making other people's lives miserable because they think that it will define their legacy.
THE POWER OF LETTING GO
Letting go of what holds you back, let go of what gives you pressure, let go of wanting to be wanted. If your goal in life is to impress people and not express yourself then you will never succeed. If your goal is to fit in and not to be yourself then you will feel miserable in the end. Just let go of what makes you do stupid things just to feel you belong. You don't need to be like everyone else, you don't need to have fear of missing out. So what if your crush doesn't like you. The reason why most people fail is because they're trying to impress other people. They try to impress their neighbors by loaning a car that they can't even afford, they try to impress their friends by pretending to be rich, they try to impress their enemies by looking successful but in reality they are broke. Most people are trying to impress and that's why they can't become really happy. You are needy if you are trying to impress.
LEGACY IS STUPID
Don't ever think that your name will be forever be remembered by people. Even if you're the "goat" nobody will remember your name 10 years from now, people will praise another superstar. So don't ever think that they will respect you forever. A new generation will be born and they will not even know who you are because they were too young and they didn't know what you did in the past. Chasing legacy is also trying to impress people, it's wanting to become popular forever, it's stupid because you are trying to impress the world forever, legacy is an ego, just because you're great in the past doesn't mean people should respect you. Just because you have a legacy doesn't mean you can act like an asshole already. Your legacy is nothing, you can become legendary but not forever.
NEVER CARE ABOUT POPULARITY
One day the people you idolize will be washed, they will become ugly, rusty, no longer attractive or sharp. Everyone will become old, don't ever feel so attracted to people who were so beautiful and good looking. Popularity is just an illusion created by people who doesn't believe in themselves. It's ok to idolize someone but don't go too far with it. Don't spend your money and time for them, the best person to idolize is yourself, it's not being narcistic or something. If you idolize yourself you will make yourself better, if you idolize yourself you will bet on yourself and believe that you can do great things too. Don't spend your time and energy for people who will not do the same to you. If someone cannot give you an effort the same as you give to him... get rid of that person.
IT'S OK IF YOU'RE AT THE BOTTOM
It's ok if you're suffering, grinding, crawling in the mud, unattractive, loser, struggling, there's nothing wrong with that. But you have to keep fighting and never stay there forever. If you're going through hell... keep going.
