Having a mind tough means being relentless, you keep pushing even if you can't push anymore. If you can't push your mind and think the right way then stop thinking for a moment, make it still, make it relaxed, breath a little bit and then move forward again. You can push slowly or you can push hardly, the best thing about pushing is you will never be the same person again. Your mind will operate on a different level next time. Face the stress, face the tension, face the responsibilities. If you can do it then it means you are little by little pushing your mind.
Any mind can reach the highest level, being mentally tough doesn't mean being smart. It means it can withstand any pressure, it means it keeps growing and it stay calm during the most pressure situations. A tough mind will never quit, it will never succumb to anyone, it will never kneel to anyone, it will keep on growing and evolving until it gets what it wants.
So every time you need to do something and you don't want to do it... do it. Every time you need to talk to someone and you hate that person... talk to him. Every time you need to finish something even if the deadline is so quick... push yourself to finish it. Pushing your mind means staying with what is needed to be faced, it means not quitting or making excuses, it means facing every challenges that will give you profits in the future.
So every time you feel discomfort about something and you need to face it... face it. Tell your crush that you like her even if you're so shy and not handsome, tell your professor that you want to retake the exam, tell your neighbor that he needs to fix the parking of his car to avoid blocking your car, tell the government employee about your complains, tell the banker that you need your money right now, tell the salesman that you don't love the color of the car. You need to address your needs in a well mannered way, address it with class, stay calm and avoid arguments that will lead to nothing. You need to face your fears, your fear blocks you, it avoids you from moving. If you want to be a mentally tough person... always move forward and forget if you will succeed or not.
