Sometimes time will really come when you don't know what to do. You're lost, you're always thinking about that past that made you feel miserable, you're thinking about your failures, you're thinking about your regrets. You're always thinking what you could have done better. There are three things that you can do when you don't know what to do, here are they:
1. REST. Sometimes you just need to rest, sometimes you're overthinking too much and your brain is not functioning very well, the result is you're making the wrong choices in life, you're making a lot of mistakes and it is breaking you apart. What you need to do is rest for now and promise to yourself that you will work hard tomorrow once you wake up. Rest is a very powerful thing, you have a lot of time... rest now and promise to yourself that you will really work hard. Rest will give you energy, rest will reset your mind. Stress is a very powerful thing, it can break anyone and kill anyone, if you're too stressed now... rest, if you're too worried now... rest a little bit and start fast tomorrow or later. Sometimes you're too attached with something that is why you can't make a progress, that is why you're too lost, rest for a moment so that you will feel energized and rejuvenated. Sleep for 2-3 hours if you really have a tight deadline, take a nap, take a break and you will begin to figure out what to do next. But also, make sure that you will not get addicted with it, make sure that you will only rest because you need to and not because you want to.
2. JUST DO SOMETHING. Just do something that will give a little progress. If you have a project like making a thesis, of course it is hard to do but there are some easy parts of it. You can type the intro, create some graphics, make a little research, read some thesis from the past, copy some ideas from other people... there are lot of ideas that will give you a little bit of a momentum. Don't be afraid to start something or try something even if it looks like it will never make an impact. Always remember that every action is the right action.
3. START AGAIN. If you fail stand up and try again, that's all you can do, you have no choice but to keep trying again. It's a never ending process, sometimes you will feel that it is not logical anymore to try for one more time but that's the only thing you can do.
