YOU DON'T NEED TO PROTECT YOURSELF ANYMORE IF YOU'RE PUTTING YOURSELF ON A GOOD POSITION

You don't need to protect yourself anymore from danger or threats if you're putting yourself on a good position. It's all about placing yourself on a good spot and not going on a bad spot. Just like parking your car in a safe place that a lot of people can see and not parking it on a dark place where there are lot of danger around it.

Just like living in a safe environment where people in the community is working, studying and living normally. There are criminals out there, not all people are good but you don't need to look for protection anymore or always call the police if you will live in a safe community. Not all safe community are expensive, there are still some places that you can afford, if you will just live in a safe community then you don't need to protect yourself anymore.

If you will just work hard and put yourself in a good position, let's say managerial position or maybe a position that is higher than many people then your financial status will not be in danger. Your job will not also be in danger too because companies prioritize employees in higher position, you will not be terminated easily. No need to protect your position anymore and be threaten by recession. It's all about looking for a good position and maintaining it, that way you don't need to feel insecure anymore.

In life, if you want to thrive... you don't always need to look for security, help or assistance. You just need to position yourself in a good spot and grow there. Just like sitting in a front row so bully students won't able t touch you because your professor is always near you. Just like Driving in the slow lane so fast cars won't overtake you and scare you. Just like doing the things that you are really good so that people will never question your abilities.
