If you want to have a right direction in life, if you want to have a more enjoyable journey... make your life revolve around your goal. Because all of your decisions will be calculated properly, you will become more disciplined and motivated. You will have a reason to wake up early in the morning. You will become more energetic and pumped up...
You will become more responsible and dedicated, you will be committed and you will never care about the things that doesn't help you to make your goals come true. You will live in a different world, you will only focus on problems that really does matter and has a meaningful connection with your goal. In other words, you're a more matured individual.
Your goal will save you, it will make you focused to improvement, it will make you a better individual that has a purpose in life. You will love life even more because you have something to aim for.
Look at those people who have no goals in life... they were lost, they were so random, they were not disciplined, all they do is have fun but in the end they feel broke and lost. That's because they were not pushing themselves, if you're not trying something to make your life better then you will have a miserable life.
Your life will only have a meaning if you attached it with a goal and relentlessly pursue it. It will become useless if you don't try something that will change you. It can be a personal goal, it doesn't need to be big. Just pursue one small goal at a time until you become comfortable chasing big goals.
