Your mind is always tricking you, it's always making you do the nonsense things that are putting you on a bad spot. Your mind is control, you don't want what you are doing but you can't stop it because your mind is always in control. The funny thing is you know that what you're doing is not helpful but you're still doing it. You know that what you're thinking is unhealthy but you still keep thinking it. Your mind is always making the decision, the decision that is not helping you at all. What you need to do is you need to say no to your mind, you have to be aware of what you're thinking, you have to take time, take it slowly, feel the moment and learn how to think, don't just let your mind use you... use your mind too, you have the power to control it and direct the thoughts that come and go from your mind.
YOU HAVE TWO MINDS
You have two minds the subconscious and the conscious, some people say that the subconscious always win but for me you can control it, the conscious mind can still thrive but it really takes a lot of effort. The subconscious mind is a place where the memories, habits, past events are stored while the conscious mind is simply what is happening now. That is why the subconscious mind is very powerful because it only takes lesser effort to use it, that's why were are creatures of habits... almost all of our moves were automatic because of repeated actions and thought patterns for a long period of time. When someone disrespects you your initial reaction is you will get mad, you didn't even think about it, you're not even using your mind. You will just get mad for the whole day, you will not analyze why that person was so disrespectful or you will not even try to calm yourself. Again, your subconscious mind is using you, it's not making you think, you're just using the automatic thoughts, and this kind of pattern is not helpful because you are hurting yourself and you will make the wrong decisions later such as taking a revenge or making stupid decisions that you will regret in the end.
When things get hard your initial reaction will be doing some other things that are easier or simply quitting, that is the subconscious mind. You quitted a lot of times in the past that is why it's already recorded in your brain, you will never dare to try again, you will never dare to face the pain. That's why most people are quitters, they didn't dare to try again for one more time in the past, all they do is quit because that's how they built their minds.
Some people looks like winning effortlessly, that's because they trained their minds to operate that way, they created patterns and connections from one thing to another, and those connections are really good and useful. For example, Michael Jordan, why is he always winning the game? why can he always make the shot in the end game? during an interview he revealed that he practice it over and over again and that's why he doesn't need to think anymore, it's automatic, he is not thinking during end game, all he do is use his subconscious mind and let it do the work for him.
The reality is you are using your subconscious mind the whole time, when there is pressure you will entertain fear because that is how you operate in the past, when things get harder you will look for comfort and that makes you do the wrong decisions. You always dig your past when you experience a similar situation. That's why failures keep failing, it's because they experience a traumatic event in the past and when they experience the similar situation again... they will never use their conscious mind anymore, they will just go with the flow, they will never try to fight back.
LEARN TO TRAIN YOUR MIND
The secret here is to be mindful. Stay present, learn how to use your thoughts the right way. When you are present you will be aware of your subconscious mind, you will be aware that you're not thinking right. It's harder because you will spend more energy and time unlike the subconscious mind where you will just use it automatically, you don't even have to think anymore. But using the conscious mind is where you will make the right decisions, you will become more creative if you use it, you will become stronger, nothing can shake you. Be aware of what is going on, this is how to train your mind the right way, always think positively, only use the thoughts that will help you.
It's about feeling the pain, it's about enduring the hard times, this is how to train your mind. You have to be aware if what you're thinking and doing is not good and immediately stop it. Start doing the right things, start thinking the right way so that your life will be better.
LAZY PEOPLE ARE ALWAYS USING THEIR SUBCONSCIOUS MIND
Subconscious mind always love the easy path. That's why it is hard to refuse eating a cake, that's why it's easier to never exercise. Your subconscious mind is so addicted to entertainment, wrong habits, bad food, negativity. It's because those things are more convenient, accessible and fun. Lazy people are always using their subconscious minds, they are not fully present and that's why they are having a hard time changing their lives, that's why their lives sucks.
If you don't want to become lazy always be present, it's harder but you only need to do this for a few weeks, once you get use to it... it will be embedded to your subconscious mind, being present is not hard anymore, a new subconscious mind will be formed... much better and healthier. A healthy subconscious mind is all you need, you can create it by being present now and doing the right things and thinking the right way, repeat this process over and over again and it will become automatic too. If you can master this process then it will become easier for you to stay positive and optimistic, motivation will be a lot easier to access.
WHY PEOPLE ALWAYS MAKE MISTAKES
It's not that they're stupid, it's not that they don't have talents, it's because they don't have confidence, they always think that they're wring before they even begin. They trained their minds this way in the past and it's only repeating in the present. Maybe their parents didn't give them confidence in the past, maybe they were always being punished every time they make mistakes. And once a thought is paired with strong emotion such as fear or anger... it will be recorded to your subconscious mind and it will be very hard for you to remove it.
THROW AWAY WHAT IS UNHELPFUL TO YOUR MIND
Study your mind, watch it carefully. If you didn't like the results that you get today, go back to your mind, study the thoughts that you entertain, investigate your thought patterns today and you will find out that there is something wrong with the way you think. Be mindful, every time you caught yourself thinking something that is unhealthy... get rid of it, forget it, don't let it play into your head for a long time.
HOW TO REMOVE TRAUMAS AND PHOBIAS?
Always remember it, don't resist it... remember it, feel the pain, feel the anger and have peace with it. It's hard in the beginning but you need repetition to master something. Just like being scared in spiders... remember the look of the spiders, touch it if you can. Just little by little, become closer to it, have peace with it, always think that it can never harm you. Once you accept that it's nothing then that trauma will go away. Just like in failing... if you can be ok failing over and over again then it can never scare you anymore. You will never be scared to try as much as you can and this kind of mentality will make you successful.
