Just like a fighter who didn't train before his fight... he will rely purely on luck. He will wish that his opponent would get injured, he will wish that his opponent is not at the peak of conditioning too. He will rely on accidents or lucky punch, he is scared to compete. There is a possibility that he might fake an injury too to avoid fighting because he knew he will get knocked out because he will run out of air when the going gets tough. He is thinking twice before the fight, he would love to go back to the time when he can train and work hard but it is too late now, he is already checked mate. The lesson is if you didn't work hard enough you will never have the confidence you need, if you didn't prepare you knew you're going to fail right before the challenge begin. You will try to make excuses, you will try to delay the challenge, you will seek for help, sometimes you will even cheat just to pass the exam. If you are not prepared you will always pray for a storm to come so the appointment will be cancelled, you will always look for an unexpected even or surprises that may alter your incoming failure. You will try to wish bad luck for your professors, boss, interviewer, landlord, teacher so that the trial will be postponed, you will wish that they get stuck in heavy traffic. You will focus on what you can't control and that is weakness. It's because you didn't work hard, you didn't prepare that's why you feel so scared, you feel so terrible and powerless.
But if you are heavily prepared, you would love to take the challenge right now, you would love to take it now because you want to release the energy that you prepared. You want to release the strength, wisdom, knowledge, skills that you develop, you wanted to show it, you wanted to use it, you wanted to test yourself if you done enough for the coming challenge. You have a strong belief in yourself because of your preparation, you just knew you have the power to take any blows because you sacrifice in the past to gain the strength that you have today. Most people will crumble because they are not prepared, they will be stunned and will let the situation swallow them because they didn't prepare, they will just accept failure as it is and will never do something about it.
Some people will seek for help, they will try to cheat, they will try to do stupid things just to survive. The result is they are developing a weak habit that has no use in the long run, and also the people who help them will control them. If you're always looking for a help, the person who helped you will be your boss. You have to take matters into your hands and avoid being weak, prepare now while there is some time. It doesn't matter if you're heavily prepared or not, just do something now before you have some time so that you have a reserve strength in the future.
SUCCESS MEANS PREPARATION
You will never become afraid of any challenge if you are prepared, you just knew you can withstand any kind of storm, you can weather any typhoon or tsunami, you will never be afraid to compete. Actually you would love to take a harder challenge because you wanted to test yourself. Prepare as much as you can, it's like investing, you give something today and you will collect the rewards in the future. If you will try to stay easy now and do the easiest things that will never improve you then time will come and it will backfire at you, you will look stupid and weak, you will become powerless. Power and control was being mold by delayed gratification and sacrifices. You will have more energy, options and resources in the future if you will try to make sacrifices now and stop doing what is easy and useless. If you will do something, make sure it will make your future better or else don't even bother doing it because it's just a waste of time and energy. If you want to become successful, prepare yourself for challenges, stretch yourself and do something to make yourself a little bit better. Don't strive for fast results, develop a strong habit that will make you successful in the future. It's simply grinding bit by bit, improving little by little and going to a level that you need in order to guarantee success. If you are not preparing then you are doomed to fail.
DISCIPLINE IS THE BEST INGREDIENT
Stop when you need to stop, every time you find yourself doing something useless... stop, even if it's really fun... stop. Stop because you need to stop, even if it's already too late to stop... still stop. The key here is to build a discipline that was so strong and committed. Because you already made a progress every time you discipline yourself, you already made a strong statement if you didn't do what you want to do that is useless. Success comes after you master discipline. You really have to do what you don't want to do, that's the reality of life, if you will just do what you want to do then you will get lost. Look at the obese who just wants to eat, look at the drug addicts who just want to sniff solvents, you will become a bum if you will just do what you want. You need to force yourself to do what you hate that has a reward in the future. Just endure the pain of discipline now, embrace the suck because that is where you can evolve.
UPGRADE YOUR PACE
Sometimes you need to drag yourself into working hard, sometimes you really need to push yourself. Upgrade your pace, the reason why you are slow is because you are so slow, you can be fast but you're not forcing yourself to move fast. You're acting like a turtle, you can do more but you always choose to do less. Force yourself to increase your speed, stop living like a toothless grandpa and start moving like a maniac that's loaded with some high quality steroids. Inject your butt with 3 liters of redbull and start moving forward like a raging bull. Because if you will remain as slow as a snail then you will never get what you want, you will get leftovers or spoiled food. You need to start creating a new you now, be faster and bolder. Upgrade your pace, feel the discomfort, always move on a sense of urgency and never think that you can always do it later or tomorrow, if you need to do something now.. do it without any hesitation. Because depression starts when you're overthinking, you want to do it but you're thinking twice if you're going to do it, stop that kind of mentality, start the process and follow through until it is done.
