Your brain is the most important part of your body, you already have an advantage if it is working properly, what more if you're feeding it the right thoughts? you can achieve a lot of great things in life if you're giving your brain the right exercise and thoughts that will make it stronger. Your brain keeps on expanding, once you absorb an information... it's no longer as big as its original size.
Make your brain healthy and you will have a healthy life. Refrain from negative thoughts, avoid social conditioning, try not to put a lot of thoughts into it, only put the positive ones that will impact your life and make you motivated. Any good idea starts from the brain, how can you have a very good idea if your brain is not healthy? a sick brain creates sick results, a healthy and positive brain creates very good results and happy life.
1. Meditation. Meditation will quiet your brain. If you meditate now you will feel peace, a lot of negative thoughts will go away. Just simply close your eyes and watch your breathing. Try to stop thinking and just let your breathe flow, feel it, enjoy it. Any negative thought may bother you but it's ok... go back to breathing. Meditation is very simple, you don't need to become perfect with it because there is no such thing as perfect meditation. It's simple relaxing your brain and feeling your breathe, it's simply inhale and exhale and minimizing the flow of your thoughts. Anyone can do it, you don't need to become a monk to do it. Studies have discovered that a person who meditates everyday is calmer and can endure any kind of pressure in life, he never breaks down during pressure situations.
2. Visualization. See the images of the things that you want. Visualize your dreams, see it coming into fruition. Visualization works, it is feeding your brain the right thoughts to make your dreams come true. It is occupying the space in your brain that is full of negativity. What you are always thinking will be your life, if you keep on visualizing the things that you want to happen then it will happen. Just don't get tired of doing it, it's training your brain to become successful. It's teaching your brain how to focus on the things that you wanted the most.
3. Block unwanted thoughts. This is a little bit hard but once you've mastered it... your life will change dramatically. Block the unwanted thoughts, your mind should be faster than thoughts. Thoughts come and go but if you should always be aware if you're thinking about negative things or not.
How to do this?
There should be a default thought that is reserved in your brain, you will use that thought every time you find yourself thinking about negative things. For example, a red car, a red mustang car... keep this in your mind and make it your default thought. Once you find yourself thinking about the things or people that you don't like, you should immediately think about the red mustang car. Practice it everyday and it will become automatic, it will be easier for you to replace those negative thoughts with the more positive ones.
4. Exercise. You maybe thinking that this is not a brain exercise but it is. Running or walking or any kind of exercise that makes you sweat is good for the brain, it refreshes the brain. The more you exercise the more you create hormones that will make you happier and energetic. Have you ever experience feeling really good after exercising? It's because your brain is being reset to it's default positive stat every time you exercise. You will forget your problems if you exercise a lot.
5. Play crosswords or math games. These games will make you think, it will make your brain operate faster. The more you think about solutions... the more your brain will become sharper. If you're thinking about the answers and you keep on getting it... your brain is evolving, the rust portion of it were being removed automatically.
6. Learn something new. Learning something new is very healthy for the brain because you are using your brain again, the old memories were being replaced, the useless information were being thrown away with more useful ones. Any new experience will make your brain much healthier, you will feel excited again which is healthy for your brain.
7. Listen to music. Any kind of music that will make you imagine, any kind of music that will make you feel good and motivated is healthy to your brain. Rock and roll, metal, rap or love song will do. Listening to music will revive your fantasies, it will make your brain happier again.
8. Finish the task that you've started. This will help you to improve your focus. The brain will feel bad if you're not following it, the brain wants you to stop the task that you've started especially if it's already too long. But you have to finish it, this is a way of disciplining your brain. It's a way of building mental toughness. Once you start something... jail yourself with that activity and never think or do something else. It feels like your brain wanted to explode but that's the best way to train it how to become more focused and disciplined so that you will become more productive. Don't go to comfort room, don't open your cellphone, don't text your friends. Once you start something finish it no matter what. Just like in driving, don't look at the beautiful chick, don't look at the beautiful house, just focus on the road until you arrive at your destination.
