Sometimes you are over thinking, you are overreacting and over worrying. You are doing the things that you think are important but doesn't make any sense at all for the moment. You are so worried about the bad things that may happen that's why you keep doing things that doesn't even matter. You think think it is needed, you think that you might have a bad life in the future if you don't do it now.
For example, you are hoarding a lot of food because you heard about the story of doomsday from your neighbor, you believe your crazy neighbor that the apocalypse is coming and that you need to stock a lot of food in your garage to avoid dying. You are only making yourself look like a fool by doing that, the problem is not yet there, there is no such evidences that the doomsday will happen, it's only a make up story coming from people who have negative minds. You don't need to do it yet so don't do it.
Another example is buying a lot of things because you saw it having a large discount at the mall. Even if you don't need those things you still buy them because you are saving a lot of money. The truth is you're not saving anything because you are still spending. You don't need to do it so don't to it, it's just a waste of time and resources. Do what makes you progress, stop anticipating too much. You think you can't buy it in the future anymore so you will buy it now, it's a lame decision because you are making your life harder by spending for useless things.
You only need to do what you need to do. If it is about earning money then do it, don't spend because what is the point of throwing away money if you need money?
The lesson here is... be in the moment, if you want to have a better life then just do what is in need. Never engage in activities that is only making your life difficult.
Don't eat if you're not yet hungry. A lot of people were eating a lot even if they're not yet hungry that is why there are lot of people who are becoming obese. They can't control themselves, once they smell a delicious food on the table... they will eat it right away even if they're not yet hungry. They will eat it without feeling guilty.
There are some people who are fixing what is not broken, they are fixing their cars even if the car is functioning well, and in the end the car has been damaged because of their meticulousness. The problem gets bigger, they don't know what to do anymore.
Just relax, you don't need to do what you don't need to do. Make decisions that are really important, there are more things that are urgent that you need to take care of. Focus on the activities that will give you a better life, as simple as that.
