Stop thinking about dopamine or any hormones that gives you energy. Stop being scientific, stop wondering why you always feel weak. The reason why you don't have enough energy is because you're not using your energy. You're always conserving your energy, you think that you need to get thrifty of your energy so you can have something to use later. You're acting so lazy now because you think that you need to go hard later but what happened when the time comes and you need to do it? you feel weak right? you feel powerless? you're thinking of doing it tomorrow. It's because it became your habit to conserve energy, you're not using your power when you have it, you're always conserving, you're always thinking that you don't have enough energy and that's why you're always weak, that's why you feel like a loser, you're so slow, you can't push yourself anymore.
ANYTIME, ANYWHERE
Start now, execute now. Do what you need to do, don't look for the right timing, don't look for the perfect place where you need to do it. If you can do it where you are standing... do it even if it feels so uncomfortable. It is what it is, you really need to adapt and improvise, be very good in starting, start fast and stop thinking about anything else. Because every time you look for a perfect place and a perfect time... you're already making an excuse that you don't want to do it. If you really want to do it then you will do it now regardless of what time it is, you will never care if your timing is off, you will never care if there is a lot of distraction, you will just do it because you know you need to do it. Use your energy now, stop playing safe, stop thinking that you need more energy later, focus on the now, use all of your strength now because you will have more later.
PUSH WHENEVER YOU FEEL SLEEPY AND TIRED
It's a sign that you need to push, it's a sign that you need to work. Whenever you feel lazy and tired... slap your face and go back to work. Because every time you believe in your laziness... you will never work anymore, you must be on a sense of urgency all the time, you must act right away without thinking what will happen later. Execute, this is what you need to do and nothing else. Always think that you are growing every tine you feel tired but you still keep pushing. Associate work with feeling sleepy, every time you feel tired... always think that you need to push for more. Always think that you don't have the right to rest because you haven't done anything great yet.
YOU WILL HAVE MORE ENERGY IF YOU ARE EARLY
Whatever you need to do... do it now, stop waiting, stop prioritizing other things that are easy and fun. If you need to do something that is hard but needed... do it now. Being early will give you more energy because there is no pressure, you will feel that you have a lot of time, there will be a lot of allowance, you will never crumble. Because you are using more energy if you feel pressured, you will become slower, you will become scared, all of your decisions will be wrong. So be early all the time, be fast, start now and forget about everything else, focus on your speed, focus on being a fast started and strong finisher.
WHAT ARE YOU DOING ONCE YOU FEEL LAZY?
Change your reaction when you feel lazy. Most people's initial reaction when they feel lazy is to sleep, they will take a nap, or maybe they will stop and do something else. And this kind of habit makes then unproductive and lazy even more. Whenever you are bored, whenever you feel like quitting... keep pushing. Enjoy the boredom, enjoy your slow pace but keep moving forward. Some people will take a cigarette break, some people will watch on their cellphone, some people will stop and sleep, they will think that they can do it later or tomorrow but the truth is they will not do it anymore because their minds will always look for an excuse why they should not do it.
ALWAYS LOOK TO BECOME A FINISHER
What's your identity? are you a finisher? do you have that killer mentality? do you think you have an extra gear to push whenever things gets difficult and stressful? You need to have that assassin mentality, you have to be cold blooded and single minded. Always think that you can finish it, always look for that next step of finishing it. Don't be stupid and full of excuses, if you need to finish it then what the hell are you waiting for? look for the next step and do it right away. Be a finisher, don't just do something and will leave it hanging in the air, once you start something... never stop until you're done, don't rest, never stop even if you are tired. Just keep pushing and pushing until you finally finished it. Because there's no other way but to finish strong, you can't be at the end of the race and trying to manage your energy, go all out, don't be scared to get super exhausted. Because the truth is you have a lot of reserved energy but you weren't able to use it because you're not using your energy now.
FOCUS ON WHAT YOUR'E DOING
Always be mindful of your thoughts and activities. Always see to it that what you're doing and thinking is really connected to the important task, when you find yourself thinking about something else outside of the main thing... stop thinking about it and go back to the main thing that you need to give an energy. Focus on what you're doing, be engaged, stay committed until it's done. And even if you're bored and feeling heavy... still stick with the task until it's done. Stop thinking about what other people are doing, stop thinking about the past, stop entertaining random thoughts that are interesting but useless. Focus on what you need to do and never stop until it is done.
