Don't look for the clock, don't worry about the time, it doesn't matter what time it is... just start. Even if it's already 4:38 AM still start, even if it's too late... just continue. You have to do it, even if your professor won't accept assignments anymore... still pass it. Even if your strict dad won't let you come inside of your home because you disobey the curfew... still try to go home, even if you feel that you're too old to start a dream... still chase that dream. Don't afraid of time, it's just a number, it has nothing to do with what you want because if you really want it then you will do it regardless of what time it is.
Even if it's too late to say sorry... still sorry. Even if it's late to say thank you, say thank you. Don't be afraid of what time it is, what matters is you do the right thing and you face your fears. It's not about how early you are, it's about your desire to finish and still do it despite of being late.
I am not saying that you should be late all the time, I'm not saying that its ok to be late, the point here is... your mindset should be to go further and never hold yourself back. Regardless of what time it is... push yourself to do it.
DON'T BE AFRAID TO GO SLOW
They say you need to become successful before 40 years old, so what if you're still broke? for as long as you're trying and not giving up... you are fine, you will be ok and you will still become successful. It's not about how fast you are, it's not about how great you look, it's about trying and chasing that dream, it's about willing to chase it even if it's too impossible and late. It's ok if you have a rough start, what matters is you're pushing yourself to move and not hesitating to pull the trigger. Success is all about moving, momentum will start to kick in if you're not thinking too much and simply doing whatever you can do. This is not a race, it's a marathon. There are some people who are really fast but they can't sustain their pace. Some people become successful fast but they cannot maintain their success, they can't hold on to it because they can't handle the pressure.
Being slow is ok, never care if everyone is mocking you, never care if you're the last person on the race. Just think that it is your own race and all you have to do is finish even if you're the last.
CONSISTENCY WILL MAKE YOU FASTER
It's ok if you are slow, it's ok if you haven't mastered your skills yet. If you are consistent and always following through then you can overtake someone who is a master of his craft but is lazy and has as a poor work of ethic. Your consistency can overtake your lack of skills. Be consistent on what you want to achieve, do it even if it's not working, just try to put it into your system and try to make it stay there forever. So do it now and do it tomorrow and the next day and so on. Build a very strong habit if you want to become faster and your body will become a machine, you will automatically do it without even thinking. That's how great people are programmed, they don't need to decide if they're going to do something they just do it automatically because their subconscious minds are in control.
So never mind if you're fast, just focus on doing something everyday and you will be able to develop a speed that will help you to succeed. Nevermind looking perfect, don't try to race with anyone, don't try to compete and just stay on your own lane, stay on your own journey... this will make you faster and better.
AVOID TRYING TO LOOK CUTE
Trying to look cute, trying to look perfect, wanting to feel great all the time... This mindset won't help you at all, it will only slow you down. You will never get any job done if you're always trying to look cute. I know someone who is always trying to look good by trying to look cute, he wants to be appreciated, he's so focused on how he feels and what people are thinking of him. He's trying to force people to love him and that's why he always look like a loser, that's why he never get any job done. If you want to start something, if you want to make a progress... stop trying to look cute and just pull the trigger. Because your mind is always telling you that you're not perfect, that there is something wrong and the only way to fight it is to force yourself to move regardless of what may happen next.
Trying to look cute, trying to look cool, trying to look perfect... this will never get the job done. You have to keep moving forward despite of imperfections, you have to jump in there and do what you are suppose to do.
NEVER CARE IF YOU ALREADY FAILED
If you already got rejected, if your professor already dropped you, if your project failed, if your car didn't start, if your already late at work, if your late in your car monthly payment still pay it, if you're late in studying something still study it. If you're client is already too mad because you haven't done anything yet still do it, do something, it's not about how they feel it's about your willingness to finish and redeem yourself.
So handle your business and man up. Don't take anything for granted because you're already late. It doesn't matter what time it is, it doesn't matter if the whole world already gave up on you, you have to use your willpower to put yourself on a better position to succeed. People who are scared to fail are also scared to win, you should never make failing a big deal, treat it as a normal thing.
DO WHATEVER IT TAKES TO FINISH
If you need to beg, if you need to swallow your pride, if you need to get humbled, if you need to sacrifice a lot... do everything. It's better to finish than to leave something hanging in the air. Again, it doesn't matter if you're the last person. It doesn't matter if you're the oldest man who will finish the school, it doesn't matter if everyone is mad at you because they're waiting for you, still show up and do your responsibility. Be a finisher and not just a starter. See yourself as someone who doesn't care if the world is against him, your focus is to get the job done, that is your identity, that is your image. Always keep moving forward no matter what. Taking actions should be your number one habit, it should be your number one priority, stop conserving your energy and use it. The more you use your energy the more you have a lot of it, don't be afraid of getting tired because your body will regenerate and gain its strength again. Rest if you need but don't over rest, once you feel your body already replenished a little bit... go hard again, push yourself again, it's going to be a lot of fun.
