Everything is useless unless it is giving you something, if you want to get something you have to work for it, if you want to get more you have to make sacrifices, if you want power... you need to stop being a liability. Be the source, be the power, be the doer. If you're not doing anything, if you're feeling comfortable and trying to get a freebie then you will become powerless because you will wait, you will follow orders, you will be controlled and you will be left behind anytime the source of power wants to, you will be replaced, you will be ignored. So stop making dramas, stop being a pussy and do something about it. If you want power you need to face the pain, embrace challenges, enjoy the boredom and make sacrifices. It is what it is, if you're always looking for happiness, entertainment and pleasures you will become powerless, you will get worse, do you want that? if you want real power you have to stay disciplined and committed to the process.
Just like a person who is always borrowing money... he is powerless because anytime he can be manipulated by the lender, he can be embarrassed by the lender, he can be forced to do what he doesn't want to do just to avoid paying the money early.
Another example is a person who doesn't want to use the public transportation and chooses to take the free ride from his friend, anytime his friend can say no, anytime his friend can make an excuse that he can't fetch him so he is powerless. Anytime you allow to be controlled or be served by anybody... you are powerless. Not all free is good, not all help is useful, you will become powerless every time you wait for something to be served to you. The power goes to the server, the power goes to the source and not to the consumer. If you keep on consuming without giving then you will become powerless, you may get something from now but you will lost a lot in the future. If you keep on hoping for help, if you keep on trying to become a victim instead of a doer then you will never have the power to control any situation.
Be alone if you need to, don't be afraid to look like you're struggling because the real power is when you are ok with your resources and not taking a free ride. Any free ride is dangerous because the driver might change direction, he might change his mind, he is always in control and you don't know where it is going.
START FROM THE BOTTOM
Power was built from the bottom, it was built from scratch. You create or find the resources you needed for any given situation or a situation that you're into. You must have a resources that will make you powerful or at least be in control. Always remember that if you need something from somebody then that is the time you become powerless. You must stop needing something from somebody, you must avoid begging or lobbying or else you will be controlled. Power is taken not given, connections will make you powerless, hoping and wishing will make you weak. You have to take matters into your own hands and stop being afraid of starting from the bottom. Stop looking for help, stop looking for somebody to save you and do it your way. Some people will look for comfort and that is why they are powerless, if you want power you need to stop begging, stop hoping for a handout because it will never develop your mentality. Once you are independent from anything or anybody... that is the time you become powerful.
STOP GIVING AWAY YOUR TIME FOR FREE
One way to become powerful is to stop giving away your time for free. Stop waiting for replies, stop scrolling, stop entertaining the problems of others, stop joining a comment section that is about war or hate. Stop letting clickbaits eat your time, you need to be mindful where your time goes because that is how to win and become powerful in life. Never allow stupid distractions to control you, you have to know where your time goes and use it only for important things that will make you grow. Stop focusing on what you can't control like noise, small problems, critics, decisions from other people, results etc. You need to focus on what you can control because that is how to become powerful.
