MAKE SURE YOU CAN AFFORD TO MAKE MISTAKES

If you're risking into something, make sure you can afford to make mistakes. Taking a risk will make you commit mistakes, it is given, sometimes no matter how careful you are... you will still make mistakes, you can never stay away from it.

For example, if you're buying a car... let's say you made a car loan to purchase it. If you're just earning $1500 a month and the monthly payment for the car is almost $700, do you think you can breathe with that kind of situation? do you think you can afford to make mistakes? how about the other bills that you must pay? how about emergencies? for sure there will be an emergency that may come. Small emergencies such as your tire is flat and you need someone to tow it... it is pretty expensive.

If you are setting your life up for a better situation make sure you will make decisions that will still allow you to make mistakes in the future.

If you will build a business and you will use all of your money, how are you going to maintain that business if you don't have a reserve money? sometimes the sales will go down, how will you be able to pay the other bills? how will you pay your workers? if your making a decision make sure you still have a lot of breathing room no matter what happens, make sure you will survive the next sequences after making that decision.

They say take risks but you should be smart in taking risks, it's not all about taking the risk and nothing will left to you if you fail. Because success is not always guaranteed, you may have to fail a couple of times before you become successful.

Just like a bench player trying to make a name for himself. If he wants more playing time then he should take the risks, he should take the ball and make the biggest shots, he should take his confidence to another level and do something different.

But what if his coach get mad at him and forfeit his contract? what will happen to his career? well, if he has a lot of money then he can wait for the next opportunity, if he has a lot of options then he can take that wild risk. That's why if you decide to make a big leap... make sure you can afford to make mistakes, make sure something will catch you or else your're dead. Don't pretend to be brave if you don't know what to do after you fail.
