HOW TO AVOID OVERTHINKING?

1. Just tell the truth and accept the truth. If you will stay away from the truth then you will think about lies, you will think about excuses, you will invent different stories that are not consistent. People will doubt you, you will start to worry if they are believing you.You will worry about your reputation because you don't want to be called liar. The same as not accepting the truth... you will try to create a different version of the story, you will imagine a different angle that will make you feel good but the reality is... you are only rejecting the reality. If you don't want to overthink then just accept the truth and tell the truth, the truth will set you free. It will give you a peace of mind.

2. Avoid dealing with well known liars. If you're talking to a liar then you will always think if he is telling the truth. You will have a headache because you don't know if he is true to his words. Never transact any kind of business to a liar because you will always overthink, you will always be in a state of worry.

3. Do it now. Stop procrastinating and just do it now. If you will always procrastinate and set aside the important task... you will overthink, you will never have a peace of mind. Do it now if you can do it so your mind will stop thinking about doing it. Taking actions will give you a different kind of state that is far way better than not taking any action at all. Do it so you will feel better and lighter, doing it will make you forget your problems.

4. Stop wishing for perfection. Don't expect that everything will be smooth, if you are always thinking about a smooth ride then you will overthink, you will be scared of the obstacles and stoppages that may happen in your journey. You will even consider small challenges as big challenges, everything you see is a problem. Just go with the flow and never think about perfection because it never exist.

5. Stop controlling things that you can't control. Just let go, if you can't control something then stop bothering with it. You can never control the fear, opinions, suggestions, critics and hatred of other people. By doing so... you will always overthink and you are only stressing yourself out. You will become tired even more. Just control what you can control like your own thoughts, feelings and actions. Focusing on what you can control will make life easier for you.
