YOU NEED TO TAKE THAT STEP


If it is just about opening your PC and checking your email account if there is a company trying to contact you about the job opening that you recently submit your application you have to do it. You feel lazy sometimes about doing it but you have to do it because it will give you momentum. You cannot just take the first step and never follow through.

If it is just about texting your crush "good morning" or saying "Hi", you have to do it. Even if it is scary, even if you are facing rejection. You have to take the step that will being you further to your goal. Even if that step seems nonsense or looks like it didn't give you benefit, you have to do it. You have to make a habit of taking steps that will change your present position.

If it is just about saying sorry to the person you accidentally hurt you have to do it. Even if your ego is eating you and your pride is blocking you. You have to do the things that will make the situation better. You cannot just wait and wish for things to happen coz it never will. Things will only get better if you do something to make it better. 

Even if it is just about buying your wife or your girlfriend a flower or a simple gift, do it. Do something that will revive the sweetness of your relationship. Even if it sounds corny, even if you are very shy to do it. You need to make a move that will add something new into your relationship. Every surprising step will add excitement and give strength to a dying relationship.

Even if you can just read 3 pages of your book at the moment for your exam, do it. Do something that will give you confidence, do something that will give your brain some information. You don't need to necessarily take all the steps, you just need to take the step that you can take. 

If it is just about lifting a very light dumbbell or taking a 5 min walk or just taking 10 situps to at least make you a little bit healthier, do it. Do something that will give you a momentum. Do the steps that is comfortable to you. Do it because it will make a snow ball effect. Taking the smallest and easiest step will serve as a spark of taking huge steps later.

Always make it a habit of taking steps that will take you further. Take the steps that will at least make you 1 inch closer to your goal. Taking the step that you needed will take away regrets and the thoughts of what could have been. Even if that step seems worthless or is not making you feel good, I assure you in the end you will not regret taking that step because that step maybe the most important step that you take.
